|Award Title:||Innovative / Translational Cancer Research Grants in Ovarian, Uterine, Breast, or Cervical Cancer|
Each grant will total $100,000 and is awarded for two years. This includes direct and indirect costs and will provide support for trainee's salary, benefits and other research expenses
|Description:||Grants are awarded each year to researchers at medical schools recommended by The Mary Kay Foundation Research Review Committee, which is composed of prominent doctors who volunteer their time to help the Foundation select the best recipients across the United States. After reviewing these recommendations, the Board of Directors at the Foundation selects the grant recipients.
Please note the university can submit one grant from the Medical School and one from the School of Public Health.

A one page description of the concept and a draft budget in NIH format should be emailed to Aaron Schilz, email@example.com by 4:30pm December 16th. The concept and budget will be reviewed by a director appointed committee if there is more than one application per school.
Masonic Cancer Center Review and designation of final applicant: December 20, 2013
(Please note: completed applications must be submitted to SPA by January 30, 2014 to meet the foundation's deadline of February 3, 2014)
Foundation Deadlines: Monday, February 3, 2014. Applications must be received no later than 5pm CST.
